Testimonials
"Cheryl Ades, LCSW, has been my counselor for approximately six months. Cheri has taught me the importance of addressing addiction issues in my family of origin as well as recognizing how to confront issues over which I have limited or no control. Though I have had a number of therapists in my life, Cheri is the first to look beyond my medical diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder and investigate the life experiences which have most contributed to my current anxieties.
Additionally, Cheri has provided therapy for my four-year-old son. My son was frightened of insects to the point that it significantly affected his and our quality of life. After just one or two sessions with Cheri, his coping strategies are superb and are arguably better than that of older kids. I also respect Cheri for discharging my son from therapy at the appropriate time. Some therapists might "treat" a child much longer than needed but Cheri felt that as long as things were within normal limits in my child's life, it was best not to prolong therapy.
Last but not least, Cheri's ability to make my own treatment Christ-centered was the first such experience I've had in my life. Clearly, the best therapist is one who leads the patient to rely first and foremost on the heavenly Counselor.
It is my privilege to recommend Cheri to anyone seeking quality counseling.
SIncerely,
Leigh Moore"
